A speculative fiction project about secret civilizations, modern magic, and dragons from every corner of myth.
Skybound Saga centers on the Drarthers — a race of half-human, half-dragon hybrids capable of magic. Their power is drawn from Metaquarks: sub-atomic fundamental particles that let them manipulate matter and the forces of the universe.
Much of the work is worldbuilding — histories, factions, languages, and the cultures of the people who live with dragons. The project mixes dragon myths from Asia, the West, and the Americas, with room for alien-like dragons too.
